1. 1. HOW TO ENTER: To enter via the Internet, visit www.planters.com and follow the on-screen instructions to vote for the school with the “nuttiest fans”. LIMIT ONE ON-LINE ENTRY PER PERSON OR EMAIL ADDRESS PER DAY. All on-line entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST on April 03, 2005. Limit one vote per person/email address/household per day. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries.
A lists of schools to choose from is provided on the website. The source of the list is from NCAA and consists only of Division I colleges and universities. Schools that are not listed are not eligible to receive any votes. Neither Sponsor nor NCAA is responsible for the exclusion of any Division I college or university from the list.
2. PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize: $10,000 (awarded in the form of a check made out to the winning school’s athletic department). Total prize value: $10,000.
3. JUDGING: Vote tabulation will be performed by Sponsor to determine the winning school, based on the following criteria: The school with the most number of eligible votes. In the event of a tie, there will be a random drawing from among all tied entries on or about May 15, 2005. The potential winning school will be notified by mail/telephone.
4. GENERAL: By participating in this promotion, entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final in all matters relating to this promotion. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this vote or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this vote. If, in the judging organization’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the promotion, the judges reserve the right to either terminate the promotion and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible entries received as of the date of termination or to void entries believed to have been fraudulently submitted and to base the judging solely on non-suspect entries.
